Its interesting that these companies put in 15 year turf that is being replaced every 5-7 years or so. This is at all levels (HS, College, NFL). They say its to cut down on costs, but it seems to me grass is cheaper if turf is costing millions twice per decade.

I figured that Glory Road Field and the Sun Bowl would get Field Turf, surprised to see that University Field would get it too. I wonder if this was more of an environmental move (save water). Remember that Helen of Troy Field started off as a grass field that became field turf as well.
