so whats his story?? Is he legit??

looks like Texas Tech and Texas already showing interest according to rivals.

It would be nice if EL Paso can produce a top college QB.

SIZE:
Mark has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 193 lbs. With his size, Mark stands out in the backfield. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with a tall platform. With his size comes a strong arm, able to extend coverage with a strong vertical passing game.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. He shows good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Good location on his throws, allowing his receivers to make a play on it.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is one of his strengths, making throws with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Delivers deep throws with ease, extending the field.
RELEASE:
Mark throws the ball with a fully extended arm motion that comes from over the top. He does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when the space is limited around him.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good quickness out in the open field, solid body rotation as he lines up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Mark's an athletic QB who shows good mobility around the pocket. Can be used as a running QB in short yard situations. Tough running QB.
POISE:
Shows good patience while waiting for his receivers breaks.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure. Able to create added space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Displays good judgment when locating his primary target down field. Able to assess the defense coverage while delivering a strike to his receiver.
TOUCH:
Adds a soft touch on his throws with the ability to make the right adjustments on the velocity of his delivery.

I don’t think Dimel has been recruiting local talent as hard as other UTEP coaches did. None of the best EP players signed with UTEP during the last signing period. Coaches need to start establishing relationships with these kids and their coaches early on. It seems like UTEP was the last team that offered our best EP football recruits this past year. UTEP needs to do a better job of recruiting the few FBS talent that EP produces each year.

isnt a blue chipper considered a stud???
“Blue chip players are those who have proven themselves to be among the best at their positions in their respective sports and are more sought after and wanted than other players.”- Wiki

I should have been more clear and stated that he can be a “blue chip” player.

Looks like he paid some real money for his profile and video.

Looks pretty average to me
