Many times it didn’t look good for the Miners but Senter’s plan worked. He took a huge gamble to set up his head coach and was rewarded with the best start in a decade. At this moment Senter must be smiling feeling pretty good. Winning two/three more games and finishing around .500 is believable.

With Bieniemy eligible in basketball, 2020 might turn out to be one of the better one two punches we’ve had in a while.

One game doesn't make a season but I hope you are right. As a lifelong UTEP football fan losing has been seared into my memory way too much. I do agree this team is winning games in way I haven't seen too often. Limiting mistakes, coming up big when needed and overall just playing a solid game. This game today was as solid a performance, nothing spectacular, they took the game from ULM.
