The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, which covers basketball at all levels, professional and amateur, inducted the 66 team back in 2007, which was still too late. I remember watching Harry Flournoy's speech. I've never heard of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, but yeah, what took them so long?

Speaking of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, the most entertaining hall of fame induction speech I have ever heard for any HOF came when Nolan Richardson was inducted into the Naismith Basketball HOF. Here is the link:
