Adam Hess

Seems like he had an up and down year last year from a shooting standpoint, but I think the kid has potential.

Started off hot, then tapered off towards the end of the year, shooting a werid 6-for-21 in the last six games after a really good start to the season, Injuries maybe? could be a decent pickup but lately I look at recruits consistency more than his offers and stars.

Inconsistent offense is the biggest issue UTEP's basketball program has had over the past decade or so...

Hess's role should be a microwave from 3 off the bench. Still a lot of holes to fill in the backcourt.

I've always said that I am fine with having streaky shooters coming off of the bench. If they come in and are hot then ride them. If they are cold, no big deal, send them back to the bench. I would have liked the mercurial Ayala a lot better if he had been an instant offense reserve type. As a starter his lack of consistency, poor handles, and defensive shortcomings bugged the hell out of me.
