I'm impressed. Normally we've either lost or beat these types of teams in tightly congested games during the Floyd era. This is a nice change of pace....

I was standing although a couple of times I thought we were going to sit down, but they missed several free throws and some layups.

They did, however, make a bunch of almost uncontested 3s to get to 50. We might have a defensive weakness brewing there.

It was a great deal of standing. It seemed like a foul was being called (usually on Louisiana College) every two seconds.

UTEP totally let up on the defense by the end of the first half. It was almost like they WANTED Louisiana College to score just to spare them the humiliation. The Louisiana College coach would sub all 5 players at once and their guards put up some really bad 3 point attempts. The 2nd half was pretty much a backup show. Frazier and Omefa were sitting by then. Thomas and Wilms came back for a curtain call.
