Yes, it's early in the season. Yes, the numbers will change. Yes, we're in a 1 bid league but...

...our OCC schedule isn't looking terrible at this point, as far as team ratings and records.

The 3 lower division teams (Highlands, Easter NM, and East Central) don't help us but they don't hurt us either. Scheduling these games might be better than playing a sub 300 ranked D1 school because they don't drag down the SOS and achieve the same "tuneup game" result.

(x) = Current KenPom rating as of 11/26/19

In conference the bottom has really picked it up.

Half of the conference is bunched up in the 187-226 range. It’s really good that we don’t have any teams in the bottom 250. We need to go undefeated against this bunch but a lot of those are going to be trap games. H&A UTSA, @UNT, @Charlotte, MTSU, @FAU, Marshall, USM. Any loss here and the at large is dead. Unfortunately I do think we drop one of these games. I don’t know which one but it will be a wtf loss.

The top three right now are 88 (WKU) 90 (LT) and 109 UTEP. We get both of them at home and I see the team and city getting up for these games to defend the Don.

The middle will be road games. @ 139 (ODU), @ 151 (FIU), 153 (UAB), @ 159 (RICE) I think we can go 3-1 against this group.
