Just throwing it out there, even though it should not matter, have any Miner teams (past or present) won a men's basketball game since they began wearing the black jerseys? Just curious.

I looked on You Tube and they were wearing their orange jerseys for that game, not black.
We wore these black uni's when we beat the Tennessee Volunteers in the Battle of Atlantis.

Something is causing an unbelievable jinx on this Miner team. I have seen many, many Miner teams over the years, but I have never seen a group screw up in so many ways as these players did yesterday! Totally unbelievable. They simply gave the game away in the 2nd half - where do I start........missed layups and "gimme shots". missed free throws, missed uncontested 3 point shots, errant passes to SA, extremely poor 3 point defenses by perimeter guards, numerous brain farts by players on their offensive and defensive sets..... too many to go into detail. I am exhausted writing about this crap. If it is driving me nuts, I can just imagine what Floyd and staff must be going through this morning. We can all point our fingers at Floyd and castigate his ass, but the real culprits that caused this "give away" conference game yesterday at SA, was everyone of those players that so called "represented" UTEP" on the 2nd half game at SA yesterday. Their heads should be hanging low all week long. Their performance was shameful.
I might buy the argument that it's all on players, except:
1) Who recruited these mental weaklings (Floyd's words) who play with no heart to play for him? and
2) If this had happened in a vacuum, well upsets happen. But, this has been happening regularly under this regime. Two years ago it was New Orleans (who had been seriously discussing dropping to D3). Last year, it was Marshall (first D1 win in two months at that point) and USM (was and still is a program in absolute disarray). This year, we have Norfolk St. and UTSA. The players come and go, but you can bet your bottom dollar that we'll have a few of these losses every year.
