Board admin---- this board gives me more headaches (freezes, restarts, etc.) than any other message board or website on the Internet. Is this a known problem or just my problem?
True, much better than CUSAbbs. It’s Rivals (Yahoo). They have intermittent performance issues on all their boards.
That said, for the free site we’re using here, it has nice bells and whistles.

You may have to go to a different browser. I did. I went to Chrome. Cleaned up and updated my graphic squirrel in my computer. Little fella was slightly outdated and tired. I do need to upgrade. But, things are much better. I'm tempted to go to Firefox.
Second, high performance internet service has not hit a good chunk of America. Why for the life of me providers will not just come out and publicly say it is beyond me. They have this "Why be you, when you can be new?!" [Robots movie] marketing mentality and customers are skiddish because of cost and "I don't need all that crap!" response to providers. Also, they can't provide what they claim. Unless providers get their damned "tiered" internet approval from D.C. don't expect it to get better.
Sorry, I'll get off my soap box.
Thanks for the browser suggestion. My latest MS Internet Explorer was the apparent problem although it works on every other site just fine. I switched to MS Edge and no problem on this site.
Try Firefox or Chrome(but uncheck "use hardware accelerator ...." if it is slow on you. At least that sped up chrome for me on my pc.)Board admin---- this board gives me more headaches (freezes, restarts, etc.) than any other message board or website on the Internet.
