C-USA TV Deal to be Announced Soon

It is widely believed that C-USA Commissioner Banowsky finished the media deal before he announced his departure from the front office. With C-USA media days being tomorrow and Wednesday (July 21 & 22), an announcement could come any time.

True that. But, media deals will continue to decline and when cable becomes truly a-la-cart, there will be an earthquake.

A post from a Marshall fan on csnbbs, "Today on the radio, Charleston Daily Mail writer Chuck McGill said he expects the TV deal to be announced tomorrow".

Banowsky said today it is being worked on, many details are finished. Don't expect an announcement until maybe after football season. He would not rule out "big changes" or new partners when pressed by reporters.

Banowsky also didn’t rule out the possibility of a new TV partner, such as ESPN, coming on board with C-USA either.
