The days of getting 4 and 5 years to get your own players is out the door. Except at UTEP.
I agree that UTEP cannot continue to allow coaching mediocrity indefinitely. So, unless kickballpro is right and coaching truly doesn't matter, where does UTEP go for money to buy out Dimel's contract?
But if kickballpro is right, then it should not matter that Dimel is coach as long as UTEP hires a bunch of renowned recruiters to bring in studs. Then Dimel can just pace the sidelines and pretend like he's doing something, anything, and the studs on the field will just win because they're studs.
