UTEP projected to finish 10th in the conference? That's pretty low in my opinion. I don't expect them to finish in the top four, but I do expect them to be better under a new energetic coach and basketball system.

Although I'm not expecting much, I'm hoping for the best. We have inconsistent guards that get sloppy at end of game scenerios, poor 3 point shooting and no proven scoring in the paint.

I do think we will have a strong defense and some suprises, but time will tell. I think middle of the pack with some big wins and some bad losses will be reasonable. I would say 8th.
