There seems to be some confusion about whether it was pulled or he was asked to grayshirt until the following January. Of course, Petrino didn't even have the stones to call the kid himself. Either way, your point is on point - Petrino is likely the most despised head coach in the NCAA. Of course, on a similar note, Urban Meyer signed the top running back out of Michigan but failed to announce that the Ohio State RB coach had accepted the same position with the Chicago Bears until the day AFTER LOIs were signed! The latest example of "It may not be illegal but it sure as hell ain't right..."

All in all, this was a bad move by Bobby but if he wins this will be forgotten and kids will still line up to sign with Louisville.
