42. Sean Kugler, UTEP Miners: Kugler earned four letters as an offensive lineman at UTEP, where Andy Reid was his position coach. As a senior in 1988, he helped the Miners to their only 10-win season. Kugler signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent in 1989 and started at guard for Sacramento of the World Football League in 1991.

WTF? That has got to be the absolutely dumbest ranking in the history of rankings...

So let's see, Bill Snyder is ranked #118 and Kugler is #46, so you'd obviously take Kugler over Snyder to coach your college football team, right?

Yeah, you missed the point. It's taking all of the coaches, then ranking them in order of how good they were as players. It has nothing to do with their coaching abilities...other than that they've made it to the level of head coach.
