The Lobos struggled with HBU but won 27-17. Attendance was 15,908. HBU lost their OC and starting QB to WKU this past year. Can UTEP top that attendance and performance Saturday night vs B-C?

I think UNM's rivalry game against NMSU will tell us a lot more about them.
If UTEP hopes to hit 6 wins then UNM sounds like a "must win".

I think thats right. Last year UTEP missed a chance to be bowl eligible partly because we had no conference home games and didnt play the Aggies. Would have made a difference.
This year to get to 6 wins means winning the winnable home games like BC, UNM, ODU plus a couple of winnable road games like NMSU, USM plus winning a game or two we're not supposed to win like UNT and/or Rice. Not going to be easy but if this team was well coached, within reach.
24 penalties for 253 yards so far.... This must change for us to win more than 2 more games. Our offense is just too passive and our DBs are much too porous.
