Just read an article that UTEP alum, and 14-year NFL veteran, will require open-heart surgery after discovering a serious heart issue when having a physical done before his trade to the Saints.

Might have been an asceding aortic aneurysm of good size for them to take him to surgery immediatly to 'save his life'. If that ruptures, you will be dead in a matter of seconds.

I hope he is fine, such a nice guy. He already has had a tumultuous life and has persevered. This trade might have saved his life.

I still remember Dorenbos standing by the tunnel all by himself during a “Meet the Miners” on a Saturday years back as everyone else was clustered around the more popular players. Took my then two little ones and asked for a picture.
