I know Miner ball is a ongoing drama show, but least we are not UNM. The lobos have suspended or dismissed several players due to off campus parties, domestic violence, drug use and other misdeeds. Lost 5 of their last six and are a shell of the team we saw here earlier in the year. At least most of our stink has been limited to our poor performance on the court, and we haven't as of yet taken it out in public like the lobos.

Yeah totally! Must suck to have gone to 3 NCAA Tournaments the last decade and beat the Miners in the NIT! Also sucks to play basketball in the MWC too! I for one am glad we don’t have to play San Diego St twice a year. Much better to play UTSA twice a year!

You never really played competitive sports growing up, did you?

A fan’s joy only goes as high as his sorrow goes low. You can’t have one without the other. A real fan can’t even help it. For you it’s just a “hobby” though, right?

I did. But it's different as a fan. I am happy either way because following sports is just something I do for fun. I think it's silly to have sorrow over a game, but that's just me.

While I agree, it gets to a point where apathy kicks in. That's when you start losing loyalty.

It’s typical of UTEP honks to try and belittle other (more successful) rivals to try and make UTEP’s continuous failures more acceptable.
