One change I would make is to start Sjolund over Verhoeven. BW already owns the box and Kennedy is a surprisingly good rebounder. Sjolund, opens up the game alot when he's on the floor.

Adam Hess is alot better than I thought when we recruited him. Reminds me of Jarvis Mullahon

Disagree. Sjolund is struggling out there. Verhoeven is awesome on the defensive end of play. This team appears to have enough offensive weapons to not need Verhoeven on the offensive end.

Man, I really hate to say that Verhoeven is a liability offensive but he is. I mean, how does he miss a dunk? But he definitely makes up for it defensively. Love his shot blocking ability.

Yes he played pretty bad, but I think once he plays a few games he will be a lot better.

Onyema with some authority only a few seconds off the bench. We will never see that from Odigie.

Stroud will be missed. Kennedy is just a different type of player.

Agree. Unless we have a guy that can do both, Tydus is easily our best interior defender at the 5. He needs to play. Otherwise Terry could try BW at the 5 with Sjolund at the 4?

Onyema is apparently turning some heads in practice. I can see why with that throw down. I wonder if he can defend?

Thoughts:

1) Verhoeven needs to play a lot because of his interior defense and his potential to rebound;

2) Terry needs to find a rotation and stick with it;

3) Our outside shooting is much improved;

4) There is no way in hell that Vulikic should be getting more playing time than Hess;

5) Odigie’s body keeps looking better but his athleticism doesn’t;

6) We finally have a true point;

7) Boum is ready to lead;

8) Defense is not good; and

9) Kennedy is the new Edwards.

Overall I am optimistic as this team should be competitive.

Yes I think it was you that reminded me they all get their year back. If he can finish like that then I can see him defending and rebounding too. I'm all about power in the paint.

Hoping Vuk was just off tonight. You can tell by the way he moves around the court and passes the ball that he can play. But his shot was broken.

That's fine. Let him sit this year. He's not ready. But I don't expect Coach Thomas to get that. He's shown that he is unable to evaluate the talent and readiness of his players and set his rotation accordingly.
