Love Z. He is my favorite Miner. Love the excitement he brings every time he's on the court. He's come a very long way since last season when he looked lost on the court. He has the potential to be a superstar for UTEP.
I love his progress, so far. It shows that he listens, works hard and wants to improve. The man-child is going to be a MAJOR contributor before his career at UTEP is finished. I look forward to seeing his potential reached.

I think he is a little undersized for a center, but that is his game so far. Bigger than VH, not as athletic and less of a motor, but he definitely has enough will and the athleticism. It will be interesting to see how he progresses. I have compared him to Tchatchoua from Balyor. I think that fits his style of play. Montrezl Harrell comes to mind as a pro comparison as well.
I'm glad that Golding sees what we do in Z and has given him a chance. Im glad he stayed and Im glad that Golding finally showed some pick and role and inbound lob plays recently too. He will be fun to watch from here on out.

He also comes from a solid family, who really support him. He is my favorite as well. He continues to improve!
His foot work has improved a ton this year. He gets to his spots, finds his lanes better (but still needs improvement) and his court awareness has really almost done a 180. It may be mid major ball but it moves fast and some players struggle to adapt. Good job CG improving him.
He has grown exponentially from his HS playing days. He has a very high ceiling.
Well at least we know big Z is not leaving
