If Pickles can throw the ball and the defense can stop the run then UTEP has a good chance of winning.
That being said Awad threw a lot of accurate passes against MTSU so UTEP will need to also account for that. I see it being close but I’ll give the edge to NMSU only because of last weeks performance. Aggies by 4.

Mercifully the football season ends today. Personally it ended for me after the Southern Utah loss.
I have serious doubts about our ability to move the ball, and Walden hasn’t proven he can win on the road. I don’t love this pick, but I’ll go with NMSU 21 UTEP 17. Here’s to better things next year 🍻
