....tickets were bought well, well before March 2020 Covid-19 fed declarations. If it's 25% capacity is what UT goes to are there any pubs (who follow Covid guidelines) that will show game in Austin? UT folks, any word?

I made a promise years ago to her. She loves her Longhorns and UTEP too.

2step reach out to me. I’ve got options. We’re making plans to host a private watch party at a local brewery.

I’d try to scalp tickets from someone at a tailgate and take her to the game.

How much do you think it’s going to cost to be inside the stadium? Texas could probably charge $500+ a ticket and get away with it.

I’ve always had good luck getting them for face value or a little more at tailgates before the game. Just walk up, be friendly, and ask if anyone has two tickets they want to sell. Have cash with you.

Another known place to buy tickets is at Scholz Garten — an old beer garden on San Jacinto near the stadium.

I’ve never not scored tickets this way. Maybe take some beer with you to throw in the tailgaters’ cooler.

For the UTEP game, I wouldn’t pay more than $100 per ticket scalping.

Don’t worry about where the seats are. You’ll be able to walk around/move around during that game anyway.

I said up to, Cheap Ass Keyboard Nobody.

It's called being smart with money. They are $38 on StubHub. Why would you pay UP TO $100 at the game?

I am sorry you are in debt up to your eyeballs and you don't like saving money.

Well then you are a moron! LOL!!!

I’m going to try to be nice and explain this to you. If you’re from EP, and you’re going to Austin for the game, it’s about the experience and meeting people.

You walk up to a tailgate with an ice cold 12-pack, and make some new friends.

Face value is fair because some season ticket holder paid that — a true fan.

So you have to pay people to meet them? Ok.

Cashier at Dillard's: The total is $97.56 with tax. I only need one $100 bill because your items are on sale.

@unihorn: Shut up bit$$, I want to pay full price!!

Ok, I’m not playing nice now.

You’re a skinflint aggy troll whose only true friend is yo adoring mommy.

My question is does that $38 ticket from stubhub guarantee entry into the stadium?

If capacity is reduced to 25% who gets priority entry. The guy with the cheap ticket or the 20 year season ticket holder that pays 2-5 grand a year for his seats?

Yes, I would rather pay half the cost on StubHub than buy them for double the price at the game.

Only an idiot would pay more for tickets for no reason.
Hey Douche. You incited this argument because of your eristic ways. Everybody here knows you would never speak like this face to face. Yes I know. You were being funny. Was it sarcasm or were you just being facetious this time? I think you are just desperatly seeking attention for something we don't know about. What could it be?

Yes, this post really warranted an argument! LOL

"You can buy them for half that cost on StubHub: https://www.stubhub.com/texas-longhorns-football-austin-tickets-9-19-2020/event/104437656/

Plus, apparently @utep2step already has tickets."

Meet me at any Chihuahuas game and I will call you a moron for paying double the cost for something.

Nobody knows right now because none of that has been discussed.

I bet you tickets won't even be released until a week before the game (if it takes place) and you will scan them directly from your phone.

It's going to be a major headache either way and I am sure there will be a lot of people mad that have season tickets that can't go to the games.

Do you think @unihorn uses use gay slurs in public?

How about this?

I call out @unihorn for being a moron for paying double the cost for something, @unihorn can call me gay slurs, and you can be a witness to it.

Next year, you both choose a game and come by the dugout before the game.

That’s only half the problem too. How do you tell a guy paying 5 grand for seats that he has to sit somewhere else (possibly in far worse seats) because of social distancing?

That’s why my question remains unanswered. Once all the information is released how much do you think it will end up being for a ticket into the game? I’m sure it’s going to be more than $38 and more than $100. It’s special circumstances. COVID, home opener after months of lockdown, revealing of new renovations, etc...
