Other than U2 and the Cranberries, Here are some good Irish hard rock bands to drink to: Phil Lynott of Think Lizzy and the McManus brothers of Momma's Boys are the pride and fathers of Ireland's hard rock music who made Irish rock mainstream worldwide with huge world wide rock tours. Momma's Boys even played at "The barn" in El Paso thirty some years ago.

Be safe everyone!

I saw them! They opened for Kansas! One of if not the best concert ive seen at the barn.

U2 has dabbled in hard rock. That Batman song they did was pretty hard. The Cranberries are just unlistenable.

I can't deny that they dabbled in hard rock, but saying they are a hard rock band is criminal. I think it's even more criminal to say The Cranberries are a hard rock band.

....The Cranberries are just unlistenable.

LMAO!

What I didn't clearly say was bands coming out of Ireland who had a wide mainstream global following (U2 and Cranberries). No the Cranberries were not hard rock.

Saint Lemmy, please forgive me, ok?!
