This hurts a lot! ZZ Top was one of my favorite bands, right up there with Rush. Had tickets to see them since last year, but the show had been rescheduled twice because of the pandemic. They were suppose to play in El Paso in December. Vaya con Dios Dusty! Thank you for the great music and many memorable shows. Play those three chord blues for the Big Man upstairs now.

This is now the fifth rock/metal musician to pass away in less than two weeks!

Jeff LaBar, guitarist, Cinderella
Gary Corbett, keyboardist, Cinderella, KISS, Foreigner
Mike Howe, vocalist, Metal Church
Joey Jordison, drummer, Slipknot
Dusty Hill, bassist, ZZ Top

I Thank You Dusty for the many memories and rocking blues. Slap that 4-string upstairs with all the other greats.

Such great raw power from That Little Ol’ Band From Texas!

I am of big fan of the metal/hard rock genre and it's been tough the past couple of weeks for the industry as others have passed as well. One metal lead singer came back on the scene very recently after a twenty year hiatus but passed away a few days ago.

And now we know how he died.
