Do you think he's had time to take a look at what the team has been doing.

I asked him that very question! Whether or not he's even aware of how awful it's become and if so; does he even care. His refusal to answer or even acknowledge that there is indeed a problem and that it's his problem to deal with is beyond scary.
I’m sure Senter knows what’s going on and is extremely worried about the rest of this calendar year. However, what the **** is he supposed to do right now? He’s not going to fire Dismel, because he would have already done it. Firing Dismel now, would hurt the program even more. Like I have said before, you cannot fire the basketball coach that improved on his win total from year 1, especially when the white coach got kept and the basketball coach is black.
Senter will not be firing Terry unless he violates some NCAA rules or whatever, not after this season anyway.
At this point nobody wants him to do anything. Hes proven to be completely incompetent. What most want is for Wilson to fire Senter. We cant begin to rebuild this absolute disaster until Senter is gone. Everyone know we have at least another year with Dimel. As you pointed out Terry has improved he will probably get another two years. We need somebody to come in start putting a plan together repairing relationships with donors and sponsors and most importantly hire a new football coach in December.
It’s all office politics. I bet she’s already looking for her AD.Wilson’s public comments indicate she likes Senter.

I am a critic of Senter as much as any disgruntled fan, but I would not call him “completely incompetent”. Has he done a bad job? Sure. Is he likely to turn it around? I don’t think so.
Hiring Dismel has been a mistake, he’s already locked in for 2020. Maybe he will win 2 or 3 games and show improvements in other areas. Do I think that will happen? No.
Terry hasn’t done wonders, but he has won more games than last and UTEP might make the CUSA tournament. Is it what we expected? No. Is it an improvement? Yes. He will be back for a crucial 3rd year. Terry will not have an opportunity for a re-build. Let’s see what happens after the season.
Ticket prices - Senter has raised and without reason. He has failed the fans. However, there are claims that UTEP is “bringing in more revenue” now. While I would do it differently, I’m sure his boss is pleased with that. If true.
If UTEP were made of money, damn right clean house. Any self-respecting P5 program would, but we’re not. We’re stuck. Firing Senter at this point would set the school back and it will be up to Senter’s gimmicks for football to try and get fans excited. Will things turn around? I don’t think so, but I wouldn’t rule it out.
