Twitter says he will be making an official on Wednesday and Thursday. The most impressive thing about him are his grades. He is built a little like Tim Hardaway. His game resembles 'Bug' also...on a reasonable scale. He looks really slow footed though. We shall see.

According to verbal commits he (Nichols) has offers Cal-State Fullerton and Chicago State. Ben Nakwaasah has offers from Mississippi Valley and West Alabama. Carlos DeJesus....has no profile.

So you've basically got 3 lightly lightly recruited players. I prefer one of the two that have 4 years of eligibility. Nichols and Nakwaasah would also be redshirt candidates.

I can not believe that we can not sign Olin Carter, Nick Rutherford, Kejhan Feagin, or Ryan Woolridge. Instead we are looking at guys that D3 schools wand or don't even have a profile. Sheesh. We need a point guard but not that bad. If I had to choose from the 3 I would take Benjamin Buckets.

I agree with you Tucson If we can't get Carter just reward Tevin Caldwell with the scholarship (Senior) and get someone else next year.
