He'll be the starting PG, but for this particular game, I don't know how much he has been able to practice with the team since his return. He'll either play 20 minutes or 30.

Problem is we dont have shooters that can get hot (outside of 2 scrimmages and 1 game this year). We will have to grind it out with La Tech.

Not there. UTEP Athletics is about as hot as beanie babies right now. Senter doesn’t mind though. They allegedly “make more money” with less fans due to higher ticket prices.

Wow, what an ugly game. The Miners are shooting terribly, but part of that is because Southern Miss is playing with their hands, putting the Miners at the line. The Miners have made all 13 of their free throw attempts, so at least they're making Southern Miss pay for their fouls.

Most telling stat is UTEP is 13/13 at the free throw line. USM has yet to get to the charity line. Without our made free throws, we’d be losing big time!

Play inside out and attack the rim on drives and cuts. Stop shooting so many 3s. We have so many big guards and are a good free throw shooting team. We need to play up tempo.

Too bad we can't challenge the nation from the free throw line. Might have a chance to win something. Otherwise can't throw it in the ocean. Awful. This team is going nowhere. USM is the worst team in CUSA and we're struggling to be up by two lousy points.

I don't see a fix either; and it is pretty obvious we have regressed as the season has progressed. Offensively, it is a complete nightmare.

Not sure if we misjudged the talent, but we definitely misjudged the chemistry.

Mixture of both, plus Rodney Terry isn’t proving himself to be a great X’s and O’s Wizard like i was hoping he could be nor a finder of a consistent, common sense rotation.

Aside from his obligatory several turnovers a game, I like how Archie’s game has developed. He’s explosive on both ends of the court. Just wish he’d be more careful with the ball.
