Think Gary Anderson would like El Paso?

Reading from previous threads, it appears UTEP is doing the right thing and going for good impact assistants that run a more diverse offense. Hiring a fired coach is not a bad thing at all. Holtz at La Tech has done good things and Strong at USF has that team going straight to the top. Both are solid coaches. If this happened last year I would've been praying for a miracle that Strong would love mexican food.

Strong inherited a team loaded with talent. Let's see how he does next year.

Strong took over a former Tulsa coach Kragthorpe team and did wonders at Louisville from the get go. Strong is the real deal.

Don't confuse mega money Chicago (Notre Dame), Austin, TX and Lincoln, NE instantaneous booster results with reality. They publicly operate in a bubble and with willful glee (it makes for ESPN/FOX Sports daily reporting).

Strong is better than any coach in UTEP history. And I say that even tho I love Price to death.
