Let’s just keep jacking up 3s. 3 for 22 is impressive.
Without Efe we have no real interior scorer when Williams is on the bench
Terry is getting on my nerves. Practically wasting a potentially good season at this point. Blames it on "young" players.
The first three he took right now was beautiful: open, feet set, nothing but net. The second one was on the move, bad shot
For a team that struggles on the road, this was a big win. I know, I know...it's only Rice. Still, perhaps this will inject a bit more confidence.
The ONLY reason this game was close is because of poor 3 point shooting. We won every category.

We really missed Efe tonight. He would have provided another inside threat and made some space for Williams.
Good to get the monkey off our back, and get the road win. The offensive rebounds at the end saved the game for us. On to UNT.
We’re in a five way tie for 7th place. All of a sudden a top 5 finish before pod play doesn’t seem completely out of the question.
If you would have told me that Williams would only score 3 points in this game, there is no way that I would have predicted a UTEP victory
We stayed poised towards the end of the game, which we haven’t seen all season. Guys were definitely attacking more alps with the d they had on Williams. And also kept the to’s down. Go miners!!
They played a 3-2 zone most of the game, and made it difficult for Williams to get the ball. We didn't do a great job of attacking the zone, and ended up settling for a ton of threes, which of course we made just a few. We ended up 5-28 from three point range. I thought Edwards did a nice job of penetrating the zone via the dribble drive; and thought the team played hard, especially defensively down the stretch. It will be tough at UNT, but tonight we will take the road win.
I saw Edwards slice that Rice D many times. Edwards came to play.
