He's that dude Music, Chihuahua, and numerous other incarnations he's had on this board.
Haha when was the last time JUTEP was relevant in anything?? UTEP hasn’t been relevant in hoops since 1992. When your men’s hockey club is most successful program you have, then it’s time to drop to D3. We have left UTEP in the dust since we decided to upgrade in athletics. We had the best team in CUSA bb last season and we own UTEP in football since we got serious about athletics. Football has been decent but still way better than UTEP. Next year is a make or break year for out FB coach but if he needs to be replaced, we can pay over a million bucks for our HC and it will attract a good pool of applicants. Being a janitor at a P5 school is still better than the UTEP football job. Nobody wants to go to El Paso. There are many athletic programs out there that could do so much better than UTEP in CUSA and that’s why CUSA needs to give UTEP the boot.
Please keep posting your hilarious... nothing funnier than a fan with delusional tendencies
Barbee's team had a great point guard Julyan Stone, an assist machine who did play in the NBA. The Hawkins hissy-fits with Lathon last season poisoned the point guard play and now they're both gone, Boum is not a point guard and Bieniemy is no Julyan Stone, although I think he's played very well for stretches.Ok to all the people that say we have enough talent on this team to win
Compare this team to tony barbees last team... and you will see just how much talent we are truly lacking
Everyone said barbee couldn’t coach just like Terry but barbee had true athleticism on that team..... and basketball players ...
this years team is not even close talent wise to barbees team and that’s what it takes to win c-USA so we are a long way off!!
With the talent we have should we be in 11th place?

We’re a long way from a conference Championship, if we were still in cusa 2.0. That 2010 season had 8 teams in the top 100 of rpi with 3 around the top 50. Currently we have 4 in the top 100 and only one in the top 50. 8 of our teams are in the bottom 200 as oppose to only 3 back then. I know the rankings metrics have changed but it’s not that hard to realize the overall talent of cusa has taken a nose dive since the last time UTEP won a conference title.Ohhh no I am not saying that at all ... just saying we are a long way from conference championships
