They were doing fine until Skyler got brutally KOdPiss poor offensive performance!
? Define fine? Cause IMO Skyler or no Skyler, the offense has been and was anemic. They were doing fine until Skyler got brutally KOd
I agree with develman, define "fine." We had one scoring drive when Skyler was in, and except for the long field goal that Flabiano missed didn't come close to scoring during the rest of his time in the game. Overall the offense was awful while he was in. Now we would have had a slightly better chance of scoring with him, as he does sometimes pass the ball, but the odds of scoring that winning TD would have been only slightly better with him instead of Pickles. Points have been rare this season no matter who lines up behind center. They were doing fine until Skyler got brutally KOd

At least we won’t be kennesaw st first fbs win anymoreKennesaw State just ended Libertys undefeated season. They were a 27 point underdog
We were tied 7-7. Our go ahead field goal happened on that drive, but only after Pickles came into the game. That only gave us a 3 point lead. I've never, ever felt that my team was "in control" of a game unless they held a multi-score lead. Had we won that game it would have been primarily because of the defense, not Skyler or anyone else on the offense.Well we were winning and seemingly in control
One day that will be UTEP. Kennesaw does it in their transition year, but maybe one day that can be us.Kennesaw State just ended Libertys undefeated season. They were a 27 point underdog
So it had no effect on the game in your view to have Skyler knocked out and replaced by Pickles ?We were tied 7-7. I don't believe it did myself. So it had no effect on the game in your view to have Skyler knocked out and replaced by Pickles ?
Me either except when knew it was run plays once pickles cameI don't believe it did myself.
Had Skyler been in the game we would have had a better chance at winning, as he is a better overall QB than Pickles, but to say that we would have won with Skyler is ridiculous. Locklear has started more games and played more minutes than any other UTEP QB, leading an offense that has scored fewer points (17.0 ppg) than all but eight other FBS teams. Against LA Tech he had one scoring drive, one where Thomas turned a screen pass into a 47 yard TD. Otherwise the UTEP offense was stagnant under both quarterbacks. It is far from a certainty that Locklear would have been able to lead another scoring drive. So it had no effect on the game in your view to have Skyler knocked out and replaced by Pickles ?
