UTEP Men's Basketball Scandal Revisited

I'm sure this story is not one that many have thought about these last few years. But, the bookie involved in the sports betting scandal was revealed and now faces possible federal prison time. Interestingly enough, he was a student at UTEP and he graduated with a Finance Degree about 18 months after the betting story broke. Floyd and UTEP did the right thing here in retrospect, and that team minus Moore, Ragland, and Crosgile played the most inspired basketball that I've seen over the six years he's been head coach at UTEP.

Good article and yes I do remember the incident. Glad it didn't impact the Miners past losing those 3 players. Good job, Steve.

Just going by prior regional sensationalized court sentencing via local media reports, it doesn't look good for him in working out a plea deal to avoid prison time; he will be doing some hard time, IMO.
