UTEP offers 2017 dual threat QB

A 3 star (on QBHitlist... 2 star on Rivals) QB from Tennessee. Duel threat instead of pro style QB for 2017 so it's even more obvious the direction the offense is going. KJ is probably the best candidate currently on the team to run this style next season.

Kavika Johnson can certainly run this type of offense. I'd say he should be the leading candidate to do so heading into Spring ball.

Let's not forget Mark Torrez has committed to UTEP as well. He was leading the state in passing yards and he ran for almost 1000 yard I believe. If this is the direction UTEP is going I think they already have athletes in place who can take over the offense. Metz is a good runner as well.
