UTEP offers WR from California

Perris Citrus Hill's standout receiver K.J. Young 6'1 183 pounds received his second offer from UTEP last Thursday. Young also has an offer from Boise State. He is getting interest from NMSU, Washington, Fresno State, UCLA, Utah, San Jose State, Montana State, Portland State and Colorado among others.



He has not scheduled an official visit to UTEP and his first official visit will be at Boise State on Oct. 20.

Young played with UTEP LB Darnell Murray last season at Perris Citrus Hill HS.



He finished his junior season with 47 catches for 813 yards and ten touchdowns. So far, Young has 24 catches for 349 yards and three touchdowns in six games this season. Young also has 7 punts returns for 108 yards (15.4 avg.) and 6 tackles with 1 interception.

UTEP is in some pretty good company there. Interesting how a coaching staff that may be on its way out is still working for recruits. Good character and work ethic.
 
It has been interesting to see what recruits have said about UTEP. There have been some good ones and some bad ones when speaking of the coaching staff. I'm putting together another list of recruits to feature in the coming weeks and I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised.
