Any school that had a game with Liberty, NMSU, and BYU will have a game available too. Still have lots of time to fill.
Pretty much up up to 2025 UTEP needs an additional game to replace NMSU
Northwestern sounds the most interesting, but Bama/Auburn probably pay more
If UTEP needs a big payday in 2023 then Alabama or Auburn. If they want to have a shot at a P5 scalp then Kansas or Northwestern. I would opt for the latter.
If the university will out that payday back into the AD budget I agree. Otherwise it’s just a butt kicking and morale killer. Plenty of evidence to prove that
I think if you travel to Hawaii, you can play an extra game. So, you get to play 13 games plus a conference championship game if you make it. There is a large revenue loss traveling there, but a nice recruiting tool.

BYU has been clearing their future schedules to make room for Big 12 games starting in 2023. They have a few more to clear but maybe UTEP can take on one of their opponents.What about scheduling BYU?
