Utep should play a game in Juarez...

Another great idea Foolie!!! It’s a shame they haven’t come up with a way to get simple questions answered in seconds. One day.
I was thinking home and home schedule with San Diego State. Play them in TIJUANA and return game in Juarez.. That would be cool.
Cool idea but Juarez is a lot closer to El Paso than Tijuana is to San Diego. Not to mention the traffic.
When I was in my 20s, my rock band (Paradox) played a concert in Juarez. There were screaming girls in the front row grabbing for our feet, the auditorium was completely packed and rocking. The promoter took all the money and disappeared. We played the Rocky Mountain circuit all the way up to Canada for many years, but we never played Juarez again. Sure was fun, tho. Got to be the Beatles for an hour.

Players are told they'll be kicked off the team if they're caught going to Juarez. I don't think they'll be playing a game there till that policy is changed.
Where do you guys think the Bravos play at? of course Juarez has a stadium. Where else are they gonna lose all their games at? Benito Juarez, I think it holds around 20k
The UTEP women's soccer ⚽ team could play a game there and the men's and women's track team can have their spring meet at the Estadio Olympico Benito Juarez since it has a track. The only thing I do not know if they can accommodate the hammer throw. They also have LED field lighting,which would be better than what is available at Kidd Field.
I'm sure they do, I just don't know how big it is. UACJ many years ago won the Mexican version of the NCAA tournament... Those dudes were a bunch of ringers... Now that I think about it, I went to go watch some comedian that had a late night show in Mexico (can't remember his name) and the show was in that arena. It was a pretty good size arena from what I remember.
