I like the Soccer Coaches running your practice for 2 hours. If you're a HS girls coach you can turn into a camp, make some money, and maybe even get an athlete a scholarship.
There are other items donated by the athletic department this year as well as many in the past. Plenty of money to be made in discontinued jerseys and other items.
Diego Martinez is a very talented artist. I'm not buying anything at the moment but if I was bidding on anything they're offering right now it would be that Chico's painting.
Usually fund raising is overpaying for stuff to be nice. Coming from someone who “donates” money to casinos, this kind of statement doesn’t surprise me.

Tino ortega pieces are better. Not a fan of the Chicos Tacos piece. Too much scribbling.
Believe it or not there is no vault on campus filled with priceless game-worn memorabilia from years past.
Even the stuff displayed at Foster Stevens and the Haskins Center is on loan.
The painting is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. It's not worth $125 to you. It might be worth that or more to someone else.
I don't know. The auction runs another 4 days. Maybe I'll take a look at where it's at and decide if I want to bid on it then. Just not in the market for another painting at the moment but I might change my mind in 4 days. I will say that I think it would look great in my game room as a cultural piece.

Well now it's at $155. It looks like I did them a favor and gave it some attention.
I found a painting at goodwill that’s worth a few hundred for only $20. To the person that gave it away it was worthless and even to the people that sold it. I would have paid a lot more than $20 for it.

There are several stories out there of people who bought a painting for a couple of dollars at a Goodwill store and found it was worth many thousands. Good find for you, Mr. Corona.

On EBay they go from 20-50 each. I paid 25 for the collection of 6 books. If I’m lucky maybe I’ll get 300 for them.

Demographically speaking, selling caskets seems smart. Are college sports fans usually an older demographic or is this more UTEP specific?
