Both defenses are not playing well. UTEP O line looking much better.

Best half of the year by far. Still, the only time we stopped Army was the first drive when Army tried a throw.
Army shouldn't try another throw for the whole game. Still, UTEP's offensive line is dominating. I'm not sure Army can stop us, either.

I hate using only 3 defensive linemen. I especially hate only using 3 defensive linemen against a team that only has one pass attempt during the entire game. Army just running at will in between the tackles.
Tom Mason has forced only one punt in 6 quarters against Army.
Tulane placed 10 guys on the line of scrimmage last week and beat Army. Tom Mason only plays 3 defensive linemen every single play, even on the goal line.
New Offensive Coordinator, but still throwing throwing passes short of the sticks on 3rd down. Even if we catch the majority of our 3rd down passes, we will still be short of the first down. 3rd and 5 earlier in the game and we threw it horizontally to a guy 3 yards short of the first down. 3rd and 3 in the third quarter and we just threw it 1 yard to Lucero. Frustrating to watch the same stupidity.

Kugler deserves a contract extension. We didn't start getting blown out UNTIL the 4th quarter.
Mason continues to not make any adjustments, refuses to even try a different formation. Result: Army drives 90+ yards and scores another touchdown.

Now it’s 4th and 14 and we just threw it to a guy 5 yards short of the first down. See my post above from 21 minutes ago about our continuous habit of throwing short of the yardage that we need.
I will look forward to a new Coaching Staff trying new things.
