I really wish UTEP football would retire football jerseys just like basketball. I know we don't have the greatest tradition but it would at least mean something to fans and recruits. And the players.

Aaron Jones, Maynard, Robert Rodriguez, Rocky Perez, Barron Wortham, Brian Natkin, Quintin Demps, Higgins, Tony Tolbert, Jordan Palmer would be my short list suggestions.

Okay, let's not get carried away. Notre Dame, Alabama, Oklahoma and Ohio State don't retire numbers. Miami (FL) has retired only 4 numbers in its history. Michigan and USC have each retired 6. No way do we have 10 or 15 worthy players
