You left Jacob Cowing off of your list. Wonder whyI agree with you. We’ve seen other UTEP transfers like Deion Hankins and Tyrin Smith who didn’t do much once they left UTEP. Talented players playing at G5 schools like UTEP will get their chance to make it to the NFL. Just look at recent Miners who made it to the NFL like Aaron Jones, Will Hernandez, and Tyrice Knight, just to name a few.
Better than the opposite which we know all too wellAnd those 10 big wins are against whom? 🤡
Yo! I thought my phone was acting up but it does the same thing on those threads!I can't read the the College Basketball thread because of all the Twitter posts that he puts. I try to roll all the way down of the page to read the last post but it takes like minutes to scroll all the way down because of the Twitter links and posts. Sometimes it even freezes my phone or computer??
Sounds about right. Maybe 11-7. And WKU may sneak in there somewhere.TeamRankings has us finishing at 9-9 and 6th in the conference. I’m going to say we finish 3rd behind Liberty and LaTech with 12-6 solely based on our solid D and ability to score off TO’s.
GO MINERS!
Nice troll response. 👍👍👍If we get a 5 star QB, dude is probably in a wheelchair now.
Future sweet 16 membersAnd those 10 big wins are against whom? 🤡
And those 10 big wins are against whom? 🤡We are 10-3!
We are 10-3!Big time 19 point win over a school that lost to Northern Colorado by 42 and NMSU by 37. I hope the top 25 voters took notice of this epic win!
As you should if you’re UTEP. Every other coach was trying to be selective with their offers, which you can do if youre a top 25 program with loads of NIL money to throw about. UTEP should be shotgunning offers in hopes of hitting something.Per 247 they have made a LOT of total offers too. 257 offers!
I agree. Golding's teams at ACU weren't great at rebounding either, for additional reference. Alot of that is due to the scheme, but also the personnel. It is tough when you play one "big", and four guard/forwards alot of the time.Yeah but unfortunately this team will NEVER rebound well given the way they play defense. It doesn't matter when you win by 20, but like you said if will cost us a few games against better teams in conference or down the road.

When you lose the rebound battle against NNMC, you should have reason for concern. The Miners have not shown any improvement in that area and we will lose conference games for this reason alone.
I've told you before, I thought the UCSB win was a solid road win, and I thought that they played really well against Seattle. Here is exactly what I said about that game:Is there a UTEP win you ever make positive comments about ? Never in my life have I encountered someone with the level of negativity you possess. Every single win we have you come on here and trash the team
I don't, however, praise a team for beating an NAIA team, and if there is a glaring deficiency I'm going to point it out. There is no way that we should give up 14 offensive boards and be out rebounded by an NAIA team. That's pathetic. And our defensive rebounding has been an issue all season.I wasn't able to post during the game, but did watch the first 10 minutes or so on my phone while shopping with my wife, heard the rest of the first half on the KROD app while driving home, and then watched most of the 2nd half while doing a myriad of things around the house. These afternoon games are hard fore me to follow properly, and having them during the holiday season makes it all the more impossible.
I said before hand that I thought Seattle was better than their record. I'm not so sure about that now, but I will say that we played our best game of the season. Our bigs had their most productive combined day ever, we hit our shots, and defended well. In the second half, when it is common for teams to lose intensity when up by such a large amount, we never let Seattle cut it to under 20 until we were in garbage time. Great game by the Miners, night and day from what we saw against Utah Valley. Hopefully we can build on this.
