Wish I was in town. OH's call to pack the Don is something I could get behind. Keep it rollin', Miners!
A LOT AT STAKE TONIGHT! We win and we could go on a nice run. We lose and all the Trolls, Naysayers and Debbie-Downers will be out in force on this site. But more importantly, a win catapults us into top four position in Conference Tournament Seeding. I think that with such conference parity, most teams will lose 2 or 3 more times this season. Just win baby!
Last night on his talk show Floyd was fired up and defending the athletic dept especially football. Guess he's been reading up on some of the message boards.
Good luck tonight Miners. The story in the EP times about Harris made me feel a little better about TF. We need this win so that LT won't have the automatic head to head tie breaker over us. We must continue to defend our homecourt. A top four finish is within grasp. Hopefully a nice crowd of 7k show up.

He said UTEP football is the most difficult job in the country and basically gave Kugler a hand job for recruiting two All-Americans and winning five games per year.
Said when he was an assistant in the 80's UTEP was lucky to win a game each year, he basically stroked Stull and Kugler with the entire bottle of lotion, and patted Keitha on the back despite her being Stull's best hire imo.
By sticking up for Kugler Floyd just threw himself under the bus. During the 80s UTEP basketball used to win conference championships, WAC tournaments, NIT games and NCAA tournament games. Now we are lucky if we win one CUSA tournament game per season cuz NIT, CBI or NCAA victories are out of reach for TF.
