I agree 100%--the other thread was derailed within the first several postings...and it became a never-ending discussion of nothingness.

Great news! Artis is the key to a good season. Let's hope we can get Omega eligible in December.
As stated on the other post Artis was on top of the books.
I am sure Omega is feeling the pressure and will get the grades.
He knows that this season could be a special one.

I bet he's feeling it and if it wasn't for Artis transferring, this season would be in doubt. Damn being young, dumb and full...... It's like a nasty virus that hit young men and keeps them from reaching their full potential.
I, personally, am looking forward to seeing Artis at the point during the upcoming exhibition. Hopefully he does a better job of distributing the ball to our bigger guys--Jones, Thomas, Vint, etc. We weren't getting the ball inside on a regular basis during the first exhibition, and when we did get our big guys muffed the play (hurried the play and tried to do too much, missed wide open shots, etc.). That situation left it up to Moore and Mbachu to take the game into their own hands--which they finally did toward the end of the game.

“We anticipate that he will play,” coach Tim Floydsaid.

Fanitic times have change and this kids now a days thing they can do whatever at their own will.

Education and discipline is more important to me than a game or two. I am sure the players will

Kids have thought that since the beginning of time. I always laugh how some of you think that kids that grew up in the 50's, 60's, 70
s, etc. compared to kids today are so much different and back then kids acted so much better. My relatives lived through the 60's and they had stories to tell.
The long wait just keeps getting longer. I was hoping to see everybody together last week and now this week...it won't happen again. Hard to swallow that so many bad attitudes exist and we haven't even played a regular game yet. Hope things get squared away soon! Hate to settle with"boys will be boys".
They must have really effed up if Floyd is sacrificing valuable in game practice time to teach these kids a lesson. We need every win we can get this season and this team needs to have all it's parts in place and functioning as soon as possible.
Not sure how many of you all forum surf, but I got this info from MR and was curious if everybody is aware that Artis has NOT been declared eligible yet. Things are "moving forward" and CTF also said "We expect him to be eligible" by game time on Saturday. Apparently not all eggs have hatched so we can't even count our chickens yet.
What ever happened to the simple five finger discount of a potted plant like ol' Timmy used to do back in the 80's?
