I was wondering if we have any commitments yet for hoops. Have we even had visitors? Its been pretty quite on that front. I imagine the NMSU football game should be a good one for visitors. Anything you all can find out would be appreciated.
I posted an article this morning on a big 5-star recruit the Miners are looking at. I don't think he will be on campus this weekend, but I'm making some calls to see who might be here.
In the mean time, another kid to keep an eye on is 3-star small forward Jeffery Carrol. He's picking up a lot of interest and Rivals just added a video to his profile. impressive kid and looks to have the ability to meld well with the Floyd mentality. Here's here Rivals page:
Here's a good sleeper to keep an eye on and no one is talking about him. Jake Flaggert from Lovejoy HS(TX) is a 6' 6" shooting guard and can hit from anywhere on the court. I've seen his HUDL video a bunch and can't help but be impressed. Check him out:
