Congratulations to the Lady Miners

Yes, congrats to Coach Adams, her staff, and especially the ladies! They didn't shoot it well today but as usual did all the intangibles to come out with the victory. Crowd support is growing and growing, I had to wait in line to buy my tickets. The line was to the door entrance of the ticket center facing Mesa St when I got there. I will say it again, this team deserves our support, they play hard and they have quality players with a lot of depth. The year the ladies team reached the WNIT finals, they had lots of support from the city. In my opinion this team is much better than that team.

This team is really fun to watch. The only thing I regret is not buying season tickets so I have to stand in a long line before every game!

I am not sure yet if this team is as good as the 2008 and 2012 versions, but at worst they are the #3 team in our program's history.

I still think the second half rally of the WNIT championship game against Rutgers is the loudest I have ever heard the Haskins Center. My ears were ringing and I was getting light headed. My oldest daughter who was one at the time cried the entire time out of fear I suppose.

I really hope the ladies can get another 10k plus crowd before the season ends. It seems the womens conference scheduling has the same problem as the men's. Our top teams simply don't play each other enough. There is no reason why Western Kentucky shouldn't make a visit to the Don. Or why we don't return the trip to Middle Tennessee. Instead the top teams play the 300 RPI teams twice plain foolish. We don't have any quality teams visiting the Don but if the ladies keep winning they definitely deserve the same support we give the men.

Why don't you buy tickets in advance instead of standing in line the day of, especially now that the women are garnering more attention. You have a whole week and a half before the next game, I've learned to buy in advance and as a result, the drive to the DH is pleasant, I park in the high rollers' parking lot right next to the arena and walk right in to some seats right by the floor...can't beat that.
