UTEP did look better today. Did they actually play better defense or was SHSU just cold? UTEP's D looked so bad at times during the losing streak.

Shsu was a sub .500 team. We better look good against them.
I will say this and this only… Utep isn’t scared of Liberty! Have beaten them 3 out of the last 4 times I believe. They are probably not ecstatic to see us today. With that being said yes we stopped the losing streak so you would hope the guys are ready to turn it around, but we’re not gonna shoot the 3 like we did yesterday in all likelihood. Curious to see how we do today, but my hopes aren’t high. Get past this one like we did last year against the #1 seed and I’ll at least try and remember where I put my dancing shoes 👞, but they’ve been in storage for awhile. Win one after that and I’ll actually go to my storage to look 👀
Both of KSU’s games have been fun to watch. They will be a very good team next season if they can keep the team together.
They have a very talented young team. There are several guys on that roster that are going to get paid.
They deserve it. Liberty has been CUSA's only consistent team. I'm not a Liberty fan, however, I hope they win the ship tomorrow and represent well in the tourney.
I'm still pulling for the underdog. Liberty has that BYU-like advantage ($$$) over all the other CUSA teams. McKay is a good example of how good a coach can look with the resources to put together a solid mid major roster. That said, if they do make it to the tournament, I will be pulling for them big time. 😆
They were 13-5 in a mediocre CUSA. Do they have the ability to pull off an upset? Sure. Two upsets? I just don't see it.
I really don’t like their lack of size either. If their guards get hot I can see them pulling an upset, but if they run into a power school that has an interior presence I think they’ll get shredded
