In 2 and a half games, Leftwich completed 6 passes to our wide receivers for a total of 39 yards. For comparison, Metz completed 5 for 77 yards on the final drive of regulation and OT. I understand Leftwich played tougher competition, but damn.

Plus helped the Miners discover what a two minute offense looks like. I honestly thought we didn't have one.

The knock I heard on Metz out of camp was that he always made one big mistake. Last night he made a big mistake but followed it up by leading four touchdown drives. What i kept thinking last night was how different the first two games would have been with Metz under center. With Metz loosening up the defense AJ could have run wild. We would have been competitive in both games. I will give them Leftwich doesnt make mistakes, but he doesnt make plays either. Its amazing how good the receivers looked last night. Alot of people thought they sucked and couldnt get open. They jusy needed someone to throw them the ball.

With the defense playing so poorly Miners will need to put up points to win games. That means Metz needs to be the QB cause Leftwich doesn't help offense move the ball consistently.
