1.). So was God right? Roderick Williams said that God steered him away from UTEP. Now it looks like God helped him avoid all of this mess.

2.). Frazier has probably produced at a similar level as Williams would have, so having Williams instead of Frazier probably would not have improved our results much thus far.

3.). Would Kelvin Jones still be a Miner if Floyd had retired 5 weeks ago instead of yesterday?

4.) I hope that we can find a way to keep Trey Wade/Gilyard/Smith at UTEP during all of this shuffling.

The whole Isaac Hamilton situation screwed Tim Floyd. Then dont forget the points shaving scandal.

I actually think Roderick Williams may have helped some. He has an entirely different skill set than Frazier. I think he would have likely taken minutes from Paul Thomas, who as we all know, is really struggling right now.

At this point, you wonder what might have been had we hung on to beat Boise. With the horrible start to this season, and player losses going into next season, it was time for a change. While he hasn't played nearly as well as anticipated, I hope Osborne sticks around as well.

Don't make it complex. He simply went after high risk, high reward players. Players like Flagger and Touchet were simply off the bench support for the higher skilled players. UTEP fans were not used to it and it blew up in Floyd's face and he could never get back on level ground. It was his kryptonite.

I really wish he would stop with the excuses of transfers, "new world of college basketball", conference affiliation, or whatever. His recruiting blew up in his face and he didn't win the games that needed to be won to go to the conference championship which lead to the NCAA tourney when the RPI was not strong enough. He damn well knew winning 23 games was not enough to the NCAA way before he came back to UTEP. He thought his brand would sell to El Paso and achieve success. Instead he divided a basketball fan base that most schools would love to have and lost to bad to mediocre teams the last two or so years that UTEP should have easily beaten.

I've never heard of Geoff Grammer in my life before. Why should we care what he tweets?

We shouldn't care! But as the lobo game nears, he may amp it up some. Wolken (USA Today) used to do the same thing when he was a writer in Memphis. Difference is, Wolken was actually a full time legit sports media writer. For pete sakes (no pun intended), this guy lightly trolled the NMSU president. Who trolls a college president unless they say or do something ridiculous?
