FUNNER thread - almost-was players
No dude, it should be our favorite 5 almost-was players. those that never played at utep , ended up leaving or transferring before playing a game or just one season. Players that broke our hearts. Players we recruited and never signed don't actually count (Gary Peyton). Some of these players ended up not being good, but at the time we thought they were going to be the next superstar of the program.

PF:Richie Parker (we recruited him for a little bit but then backed out when we got negative publicity - google it)
C: Loof Lirpa

I'm not sure about Tony Parker, but i don't think any of these players played college ball so they could have come to UTEP. (Hawkins enrolled at Iowa but was disq before he could play)
