Suites are required. DHC has no suites and the DHC has 3,000-4,000 less seats than Des Moines arena.…why not El Paso?
The DHC does not have a portable floor. That is why Tucson (McHale Center), Albuquerque (The Pit), Salt Lake City (Huntsman Center- - site of the '79 Final Four) because the NCAA wants to bring in their own special floor.…why not El Paso?
No airport. Shit hole barn rodeo arena. Why not Las Cruces then?
That’s one of the only things I agree with you on.?I always thought that Utep/NMSU should put money together and build an arena they can share. Build it by Wet n wild or by the Casino.
Try booking a flight to Des Moines. It’s ass.
Naw, it’s dumb. Good in theory, but not possible in 2023. Two separate state systems working together and sharing costs/revenue, not happening. Why have a Garth Brooks concert and share 50% of the revenue, when you can keep 100%?That’s one of the only things I agree with you on.?
Traveling to El Paso isn’t any easier.Try booking a flight to Des Moines. It’s ass.
Only if you fly delta (2 a day though ATL) JetBlue, Sprit, Sun Country, Breaze…Traveling to El Paso isn’t any easier.
You can get a straight flight from Florida to El Paso.Traveling to El Paso isn’t any easier.

United (IAH, DEN, ORD) AA (DFW, PHX, ORD, LAX) and Southwest DAL, PHX, LAX) have decent hub connections
Plus, JUTEP needs to attract far east El Paso.Naw, it’s dumb. Good in theory, but not possible in 2023. Two separate state systems working together and sharing costs/revenue, not happening. Why have a Garth Brooks concert and share 50% of the revenue, when you can keep 100%?
Brilliant insight.Very true. Southwest is the best in my experience. I fly to/from the east coast without any problems.

The Pan Am Center has a portable floor since it opened in the late '60s. The way it Is now they can pull it off the way the present rules are implemented. The lack of full service hotels are the problem (4 teams involved and media). The both times that was held in the 575 it was co- hosted by NMSU and UTEP. A lot of these teams charter now, commercial flights more problem for fans.No airport. Shit hole barn rodeo arena.

Better to light the rednecks and cow patties.Plus the lighting is better. The DHC has terrible lighting.
Christ no. The two compete against each other for top acts and that's a good thing. The El Paso Times did a great article on how both arena's at UTEP and NMSU benefit EP/LC years back and it's pretty cut throat at times, but actually works out better for fans/the customer.I always thought that Utep/NMSU should put money together and build a arena they can share. I’m talking about the fans. All NCAA Tournament Teams are Chartered Flights.
They should build a sports complex/arena that they can share. One half of the court and complex says UTEP and the other side says NMSU. It's a brilliant idea. Denvernowins can only wish he could come up with better ideas than me.Christ no. The two compete against each other for top acts and that's a good thing. Its brilliant idea. They could have restaurants, hotels and shops. They would get the CUSA tournament and other events. I dont think there is 2 others schools in the country that share sport facilities. High Schools in Texas do it why not Utep and NMSU??
