however, it is much more difficult to digest these losses that could be wins, than when we used to get our asses handed to us.

The team comes ready to play. The defense has been great. The offense, when they play within themselves, is serviceable.

We still continuously shoot ourselves in the foot. Play calling is a head scratcher. We see it. How do coaches making anywhere from a quarter to three quarters of a mil a year not see and correct it? I don’t get it.

For now, I am trying to force myself to appreciate that having an okay team is better than having a bad team.

If we can get one or two more wins this season, then I will probably be pleased. At this point we have been in every game except for the Texas game and that is also a sign of improvement, as 4 of our 6 games so far have been on the road.

It won't change. The only fix is to keep get better players and have even better execution. Dimel is not going to change his style or make any dramatic changes as long as he is running the offense. His style worked pretty well at K-State, so thats just his approach.

My fear is that the same thing will happen in basketball too. Its easier to make adjustments there, but Terry was pretty stubborn last year. Hopefully the talent and chemistry will rise above this season, but if we don't hit 3s again I dont expect anything different than last season.

We can't throw in the towel yet. Our team is better than last year and there are games coming up that the Miners can win. If the Miners can win these next two home games that would make them 5-3. Its possible.

Unfortunately this is going to be our future for at least the next two years. The president or the AD have any desire to make changes. Wilson is another Nagy and Senter is not an upgrade from Stull. Too bad we couldn’t have kept Matt.

We’ve been playing football for over 100 years and have never won in the east coast. It’s not the coaches, players, fans, or ad’s fault. It’s obvious we’re cursed.

For me? The grade for this season so far is an Incomplete. So much good....QB play is the big question mark. If Dimel can scratch out another 2 wins this year. I’ll count this year as a success.

We’re young and that makes everything better.

We can win every game on the remaining schedule except probably UAB. I think 3 more wins is realistic. However not if mistakes, penalties, turnovers and Hardison making the wrong reads isn't fixed.

We need a home game! The road is tough in this conference no matter who you play and add the CUSA officials who do seem to have a homer mentality, the travel etc and unless you have overwhelming talent (which few do in CUSA) you are not going to find much success. I really want us to play a game where we get the breaks of playing at home like our last two opponents did.

This year is an absolute throw away year. Three wins during a COVID disaster season and I feel like we’re playing with house money. Next year all these guys will be back. More continuity and God willing a solid off season to work together in person we should all be excited about the possibilities for next season.
