If still living in El Paso, I would refuse to attend an athletic event until the school president and athletic director could show me a commitment to winning. If everyone else did the same would the current President pull certain sports? Or would she be forced to speak up and give the community what they want.
I mean really who is donating to this? Who is still buying tickets? The diehard elder population?

Playing tougher competition like this should pay dividends during conference play — we’ll see.
I want nothing but the best for UTEP Athletics. But the future looks god awful. Unless u have someone come in and say we will not accept losing, meaning athletic director and president, im done.

This game isnt over yet. UTEP and Floyd have had many big comebacks. The loss yesterday was bad for the psychy. I want to see how they respond.

You could say that about too many of our football and basketball players.
This team looks too athletic to be playing slow.
I expected us to beat a boise state team up 5 with less then a minute left. I expected them to come out and compete the first 20 minutes. Obviously many have low expectations.
And until that changes this institution is gonna have a hard time winning.
Theres a difference between being down, this is not down. Down is having a few bad seasons, and deciding to replace ur coach at any sport knowing a change has to be made.
U did ask me if i thought we were gonna beat south carolina. I simply answered your question. Have u donated to this program? Have u given years of your life to this program? So i beg to differ when you say my expectations dont matter.
I like Thomas but he hasn't done a damn thing in this tourney yet. He is a key player on this team.

Now that the game is out of hand, I want to see the miners play a strong second half and win the last game. They need to regain some confidence and get things going. Starting off slow doesnt work..
